Coach Phil Lozevski

Phil Lozevski played high school basketball for Coronado and Peoria High School and earned an economics degree from Colorado College, a liberal arts college in Colorado Springs.  He played on both the football and basketball teams and was part of the team that led the CC Tigers to a Sweet Sixteen appearance in the 1992 NCAA Men's Division III Basketball Tournament.  This '92 season continues to hold the record for the best season in school history.  Coach Lozevski has been active in the community as a volunteer soccer and basketball coach over the past twelve years.  He currently coaches for the Boys and Girls Club, Scottsdale Youth Soccer League and competitive club level basketball.  Not content to sit on the sidelines, he continues to compete in Scottsdale Men's Soccer and Basketball Leagues.  My college coach had a great motto "HARDER & SMARTER.  To this day I believe it is the key to success in sports and in life.  My Coaching style stresses dedication, hard work and rock solid fundamentals, teamed with commitment to learning both on and off the court.  I believe my philosophy will create a strong work ethic and firm foundation for basketball skills needed for future success of our student athletes.  I'm looking forward to an outstanding season at Arcadia High School."

Dr. Corey Bruce

Dr. Corey Bruce works full-time as a physician which makes him part-time as a coach.  He has volunteered his time and talents with the freshman team over the last four years at Arcadia.  All three of his children have attended Arcadia High School and he is proud to have been an Arcadia Parent.  Dr. Bruce played four years of college basketball and still loves basketball "way too much" according to his wife Kristen.
